Camp Shane runs co-ed weight loss camps for children in Ferndale, New York and Mayer, Arizona. The camp is divided into 12 groups, each with about 50 campers and 10 counselors. As group leader your responsibility is to supervise everyone and everything that happens in your division. You would supervise the counselors in your division, ensuring that they are at activities, giving the campers the attention they need, make days off, and period schedules for staff, lead group activities, and special events.
Must be a college graduate and 23+ years old. You must have emotional maturity, good moral character and integrity, be flexible and cooperative. Requires strong leadership and organizational skills. You should enjoy a camp environment, be friendly, caring, kind, outgoing, like children, and be lots of fun!
