Job Description:

Camp Shane runs two specialized camps for overweight children in the Catskill Mountains of New York and in Mayer, Arizona. The objectives of the camp are for the campers to lose weight, learn new skills, gain self-esteem and have fun.

General Responsibilities:

1. Leadership and guidance of a cabin of 4-8 campers.
2. Participation in general planning of camp program.

Responsible to: Group Leader

Specific Responsibilities:

1. Interpret and enforce safety and health regulation in the group.
2. Supervise and assist the group in housekeeping (camp) duties.
3. Guide the group in participation in group, unit and camp-wide activities.
4. Work closely with Group Leader in coordinating activities of the group.
5. Assist with and participate in camp-wide activities.
