Camp Shane runs two specialized camps for overweight children in the Catskill Mountains of New York and in Mayer, Arizona. The objectives of the camp are for the campers to lose weight, learn new skills, gain self-esteem and have fun.

We have both Dune Buggies and Go-Karts on two separate tracks. Your job entails supervising the children on the track for safety. This means wearing protective clothing, driving at safe speeds, and maintaining appropriate behavior at the track. You also have complete responsibility for maintaining all the equipment.

We have a Dune Buggies and Go-Kart storage and repair shed, equipped with tools and parts. You will remain at the track and each period a different age group of campers accompanied by their counselor, will arrive at the track. You will also have the authority to have the counselors who have accompanied the children to the track assist you as per your instructions.
