Camp Shane runs two specialized camps for overweight children in the Catskill Mountains of New York and in Mayer, Arizona. The objectives of the camp are for the campers to lose weight, learn new skills, gain self-esteem and have fun.
As a Program Director you will work closely with Head Counselor and Directors. Responsible for scheduling camp-wide programs, optional and hobby periods, intercamp games, rainy day programs, special events and evening activity calendar.
Must have completed college. You must have emotional maturity, good moral character and integrity, be flexible and cooperative. Requires strong leadership and organizational skills. You should enjoy a camp environment, be friendly, caring, kind, outgoing, like children and be lots of fun!
