Job Description:

Brown Ledge has a staff of 3 RNs and/or NPs who work as a team. We have 180 campers, all girls aged 10 to 17, who hail form all over the US and several other countries, and are a "well population". We have a co-ed staff ranging in age from 19 to 70+, average age 26 or 27. Staff and campers have a variety of backgrounds, interests, skills, personalities, etc. The camp has a relaxed, friendly and supportive atmosphere in which much achievement takes place. Staff and campers have an unusual level of freedom and autonomy. Both groups have high return rates and thoroughly enjoy camp.

Brown Ledge is located on Lake Champlain near Burlington, Vermont. and responsibility resulting in a friendly, supportive, and achievement oriented community. Activities offered include tennis, horseback riding, theatre, sailing, swimming, diving, canoeing, kayaking, water skiing, archery, arts & crafts, etc.

Job Requirements:

Applicants must be RN or NP licensed in the US and enjoy working with a well population of kids 10 to 17 years of age.

Candidates should have strong assessment and people skills, enjoy working as part of a team and enjoy the outdoors.

This is a live-in, summer only, fun and rewarding position which we think you'll like to repeat!
