Job Description:

Brown Ledge has a staff of 3 nurses who work as a team. We have a well population of 180 campers, all girls aged 10 to 17, who hail form all over the US and several other countries. Our camp staff is co-ed staff ranging in age from 19 to 70+, average age of 26 or 27. Staff and campers have a variety of backgrounds, interests, skills, personalities, etc. The camp has a relaxed, friendly and supportive atmosphere in which much achievement takes place. Staff and campers have unusual levels of freedom and autonomy. Both groups have high return rates and thoroughly enjoy camp. Located on Lake Champlain / Burlington, Vermont. Job Requirements:

Looking for a summer to remember? Brown Ledge the "different camp is looking for an NP or RN to join our camp health care team for summer 2013. We are located on beautiful Lake Champlain! Applicants must be Registered Nurse or NP licensed in the US and enjoy working with a well population of kids 10 to 17 years of age. Candidates should have strong people and assessment skills, and enjoy working as part of a team, sharing duties. Head nurse team has been at BLC for a number of years, making for easy transition.

This is a summer only position in an educational environment, which we think you will enjoy and wish to repeat. Ability to bring daughter to camp. Email bill@brownledge.org to express an interest in our nursing staff, to ask questions or to submit a resume.
