Job Description:

All ECHO guides work closely with management and ownership in order to provide the best possible experience to our clientele.

In addition to fulfilling the physical requirements of navigating guests on Colorado’s rivers guides are expected to display the utmost level of professionalism and guest service. Echo Canyon River Expeditions is one of the oldest and largest outfitters in the state and we have our guides to thank for this fact. Your duties require you to participate in a fast-paced and physical team environment both on and off the water.

Job Requirements:

We are currently accepting applications to join our training class beginning on May 20th of this year.

All candidates must be at least eighteen years of age and previous rafting experience is NOT required. In fact most of any training class is comprised of individuals who possess little more than a strong desire to become a guide. Our 5 week training program is just the start as we believe in a regiment of ongoing training for all members of our staff regardless of their experience. If you are a serious-minded person with strong values and goals you will fit in very well at ECHO. The friendships you develop here will be lifelong and the lessons learned will help you move on in life both personally and professionally. It is hard for you to appreciate now but any of our guides will tell you it is a privilege to call ECHO home. As we like to say to our guests. “Raft with us and experience the ECHO difference!”
