Have an eye for detail? Entertainment Production Coordinators provide administrative and operational support to Event Supervisors and Stage Managers for special events. We are looking for outgoing and organized Entertainment Production Coordinators to ensure the smooth operation of our events.

Entertainment Production Coordinators at Universal Orlando are responsible for:

  • Assisting Supervisor/Stage Manager in event documentation, staff requests, legal requests, revisions, confirmations, and creation of entertainment itineraries.
  • Coordinating communication of pertinent event information with other departments, including but not limited to, Marketing, Publicity, Park Management, technicians, vendors, and outside companies.
  • Assisting management with the maintenance of Entertainment Production SOPs, processing guidelines, and event documentation.
  • Communicating and coordinating of event specifics to Universal Orlando Entertainment Staff, including: talent/park technician involvement, duty assignment and schedule for venue Coordinator, identification and coordination of logistical elements and script requirements (i.e., securing props, costumes, transportation, etc.), and post-event labor reconciliation and reporting.
  • Communicating of event issues/status with Event Supervisor and/or client.
  • Monitoring and reporting on UO performance and aesthetic quality standards.
  • Attending to employee safety needs as required.
  • Coordinating unsupervised small events (RBC, photo shoots, LCMs) including trouble shooting and problem solving.
  • Coordinating Entertainment employees throughout local or regional off-property events (i.e., character appearances, etc.).
  • Coordinating communication with internal/external clients during local or regional off-property events.
  • Coordinating travel logistics for off-property events.
  • Understanding and actively participating in Environmental, Health & Safety responsibilities by following established Universal Orlando policies, procedures, training, and Team Member involvement activities. 
  • Performing other duties as assigned.



To perform the role of an Entertainment Production Coordinator successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.  The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required.

  • Consistent attendance is a job requirement.
  • High school degree or GED required. Bachelor’s degree from a four-year college or university in related field preferred. One to three years experience within the professional Entertainment or theme park industry preferred; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. 
  • Ability to write simple correspondence.  
  • Ability to respond to common inquiries or complaints from guests, regulatory agencies, or members of the business community.
  • Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.  Ability to perform these operations using units of

    American money and weight measurement, volume, and distance. Ability to apply concepts such as fractions, percentages, ratios, and proportions to practical situations.
  • Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form. 
  • Ability to deal with problems involving a few concrete variables in standardized situations.

The physical demands described below are representative of those that must be met by an individual to successfully perform the essential functions of the Entertainment Production Coordinator job.

  • While performing the duties of this job, the individual is regularly required to stand, walk, sit, talk or hear, reach with hands and arms; and frequently required to use hands to finger, handle or feel objects, tools or controls. The individual is occasionally required to climb or balance, and stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl. 
  • The individual must regularly lift and/or move up to 10 pounds, and frequently lift and/or move up to 25 pounds. 
  • Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision and distance vision.

The work environment characteristics described below are representative of those an individual encounters while performing the essential functions of the Entertainment Production Coordinator job.

  • While performing the duties of this job, the individual is occasionally exposed to wet, humid conditions (non-weather), work near moving mechanical parts, and outdoor weather conditions. 
  • While performing this job, the noise level in the work environment is moderate.
