Adventure Director/Adventure Counselor
Job Location: Near Washington, DC, United States
Job Description:
This is the summer job you'll always remember! As an Adventure Director or Counselor, you'll demonstrate that with a can-do attitude anything is possible. Help girls achieve their goals in a fun, constructive ways... just enjoying the great outdoors.
Adventure Director: Coordinates and supervises the caving, climbing archery, canoeing, backpacking and challenge course program. Ensures that proper procedures are being followed to meet the safety guidelines for all adventure activities. Supervises adventure staff.
Adventure Counselor: Assist with the implementation of the caving, climbing, archery, canoeing, backpacking or challenge course program. Assist with unit programming in the evening.
Job Requirements:
Director Qualifications: Minimum age 21. Experience in one of the above areas with current instructor certification or willingness to receive certification. Previous supervisory experience.
Counselor Qualifications: Experience in caving, climbing or challenge course activities. Leadership experience in these activities a plus.
