Job Description:

Food professional to work with camp's head chef and supervise largecrew to create tasty and healthy meals. Duties vary from breakfast entrees to substitute items, to full dinner meal. Prep is for 565 each mealtime. Summit camp enjoys a supportive staff, plenty of help,modernkitchen and appreciative diners. Join us for a great summer. Excellent salary up to $800 per week BOE plus room and board for the right candidate!

Job Requirements:

Seek skilled food professional with experience in institutional setting (camp, school, large catering)and ability to work smoothly with large crew. Knowledge of special diet, vegetarian, and some baking helpful. Should also know how to use steam kettle and tilting bazing pan.

How To Apply:

Summit Camp employs staff from around the world. Staff members who are not USA citizens join us as members of a cultural exchange format and work with us under a specific Visa status the J-1. These visas are provided by one of several exchange organizations. We are able to connect you should this be necessary.

Our season includes a formal staff orientation as well as the camper season.

For the 2010 season, the following dates apply:
General Staff: June 18 - August 22, 2010
Counselor Specialists: June 14 - August 22, 2010
Food Service, Support, Adventure & Ropes & Waterfront Staff: June 10 - August 22, 2010
