Garaman, Inc. has been doing business in Jackson Hole for more than five decades.
THE RANCH INN - The Ranch Inn is a 57 room motel located in the heart of downtown Jackson. Recently expanded and remodeled, it features the finest in downtown motel accommodations. The Ranch Inn is located at 45 E. Pearl Street - just one block south of the famous Jackson Town Square.
THE FLYING SADDLE RESORT -The Flying Saddle also has 57 motel rooms and cabins located in beautiful Alpine, Wyoming - about 35 miles south of Jackson near the spectacular Snake River Canyon & along the banks of the Snake River and Palisades Reservoir. In addition to the motel, the Flying Saddle also has a restaurant, bar/lounge, liquor store, and a gift shop.

IMPORTANT: SUMMER employees are needed from late April until mid-October. Regarding summer employment, preference will be given to those who can arrive early and stay late into the season which runs from Memorial Day into early October.
WINTER applicants need to be able to work from approximately mid-November until early May.
INTERNATIONAL STUDENTS & APPLICANTS: Jobs for students considering J-1 Work & Travel Visas are available for both the summer and winter seasons.

MOTELS (The Ranch Inn & Flying Saddle Lodge)
The Ranch Inn and Flying Saddle are extremely busy during the summer vacation and winter sports seasons. Employees will work approximately 40 hrs. per week with overtime being a possibility. Scheduling depends upon operating conditions, personnel needs, and the overall business climate. Don't worry, days off are also a must! We ask that you work hard and be responsible during your stay, but we also want you to play hard and enjoy this beautiful area. Entry level seasonal wages range from $7.50 to $8.00/hr depending upon the situation PLUS a season-end bonus between $.50 - $1.00/hr can be offered. The bonus is paid only if the terms of your employment contract are met. Merit raises are possible and store discounts are available.
Job Qualifications:
Simply put, we are looking for honest, friendly, hardworking individuals who like to have fun and enjoy themselves. A positive attitude and the ability to work with people is a must - period! As previously mentioned, we want you to work hard, and we want you to enjoy what this beautiful area has to offer. If you are not a "people person" with an outgoing personality, this may not be the place for you.
Previous experience is always nice & will certainly be considered, but in many cases - is not required.
Appearance Standards: We ask that our employees maintain a casual, conservative, conventional appearance while on the job. Work shirts are supplied for all employees. Appearance (dress and grooming) is critical in a tourist environment!
Work Schedule: Your work schedule will change throughout the season, especially during the early and late summer months when employees are arriving and departing.
If you live in company housing, you will be expected to work the posted schedule. ++We will not work around a second employer's schedule ~ no exceptions!++ If you have a second job and there is a scheduling conflict, you must work the conflict out with your second employer. Realize that you may be asked to work any shift, any hours, any day - and split shifts are possible. We offer no set schedules.
Please understand that we have a very short summer season in Jackson Hole. Therefore, limited accommodations can be made for employees who cannot work the schedule we require and/or request special periods of time off (other than normal days off) during the summer.
Employee Housing:
We offer housing to most seasonal employees. We have two and three bedroom, furnished apartments located approximately nine blocks from the stores plus some housing located on the Ranch Inn & Flying Saddle properties. All apartments are somewhat dormitory-style in that two individuals share a bedroom along with shared living areas, kitchens, bathrooms, etc. Up to four employees are housed in our two bedroom apartments while five individuals can be assigned to the three bedroom units. All apartments are equipped with necessary furnishings. Employees must bring personal items such as linens, bedding, cooking utensils, televisions, stereos, etc. Telephone and TV/Cable hookups are available should you so choose.
The cost for our housing ranges from $25.00 - $35.00 per week during the summer ($50.00 per week winter) and covers costs for rent and all utilities. A GREAT HOUSING DEAL FOR THIS AREA! Payment is handled through payroll deduction. An individual must work full time (40 hrs. per week) for Garaman, Inc. to be eligible to live in our housing. There is also a $75.00 damage/cleaning deposit required ($25.00 of this amount is non-refundable).
Be aware that housing for male employees and couples is sometimes limited.
Jackson is very busy in the summer, and parking is limited. Bicycles have proven to be an excellent means for both transportation and recreation. Bike racks are provided at all locations.
Be Aware, The Flying Saddle Resort is located in Alpine, WY. - a very small mountain town. You must be flexible and veratile to work at the Flying Saddle as jobs here are often combined - example: front desk in the motel & later in the day, wait staffing in the restaurant. Its much different working and living at the Flying Saddle in Alpine than it is at the Ranch Inn in Jackson.
