Monitors activities in swimming areas of the District's beaches and pools, and provides assistance to swimmers. Serves as supervising lifeguard on duty in absence of Beach/Pool Supervisor to maintain order in swimming areas.
At least two years lifeguard experience at an aquatic facility; strong leadership skills, certification in Lifeguard Training and Water Safety Instruction by American Red Cross. Certification in Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR).
Positions: 2-4
Rate: $11 to $13 p/h DOE
Dates: Mid-May to mid-September
