Camp Skylemar is a well-established (since 1948) recreational summer camp, located in the Lakes Region of southern Maine. Located on a 200 acre wooded campsite overlooking the White Mountains and a beautiful spring-fed lake, Skylemar offers a nurturing atmosphere with an emphasis on FUN.We seek instructors to direct basic archery program for novice boys ages 7 - 16. Instructors will be involved with other fun camp activities and live in a cabin with 6-8 kids and another staff member.
Applicants should have some archery experience, and have completed at least one year of college.
We seek fun, dynamic, responsible role-model who enjoys working with children.
You will receive a salary of $2000 and up for the 8 week season, depending on skills and experience. We also cover room, board, travel expenses, staff shirts, Internet access, and laundry service. Internship credit available. All archery counselor's will attend a one day archery instructor certification course.
Position runs mid June through mid August.
