Job Description:

Camp Skylemar a well-established (since 1949) recreational summer camp, located in the Lakes Region of southern Maine. Located on a 200 acre wooded campsite overlooking the White Mountains and a beautiful spring-fed lake, Skylemar offers a nurturing atmosphere with an emphasis on FUN.

We seek fun, dynamic, responsible role-models to provide instruction and coaching in lacrosse to boys ages 8 - 14. Very strong and popular program. We have numerous lacrosse teams at various age levels that play in competitive games and tournaments against other camps.

We call on our lacrosse staff to coach and referee games throughout the summer. Skylemar hosts a staff game each summer with staff members from a handful of Maine camps in attendance. Lacrosse has been played at Skylemar for 60 years.

Instructors will be involved with other fun camp activities as well, and will live with the kids in a cabin.

Applicants should have a strong lacrosse background, and must enjoy working with children.

You will receive a salary of $1900 and up for the 8 week season, depending on skills and experience. We also cover room, board, travel expenses (to and from Maine), staff shirts and laundry service.

Internship credit available.

Position runs June 20 through August 14.
