Camp River Ranch offers 435 acres of forest and trails with a river and lake on the property in the Cascade foothills. Only 10 minutes from shopping and entertainment and just 40 minutes from downtown Seattle. River Ranch offers a variety of programs including swimming, boating, crafts, environmental education, outdoor skills, English and Western horseback riding, biking, backpacking, leadership, and drama.
Robbinswold is located on the Hood Canal on 431 acres on the Olympic Peninsula. It includes more than a mile of saltwater beachfront and a secluded freshwater lake. Programs at Camp Robbinswold include swimming, boating, crafts, marine biology, outdoor skills, outdoor cooking, the arts, windsurfing, sailing, biking, llama tripping, backpacking and leadership.
Camp St. Albans has over 414 acres of woods surround the lake and provide opportunities for hiking, nature exploration, outdoor living, and water activities. Two other lodges provide winterized sleeping and cooking facilities. Heated buildings can accommodate 83 people with open-air shelters, platform tents, and primitive sites serving up to 180.
Compensation
Competitive pay ranging from $1600 - $5000 depending on position. Medical insurance is also provided if you become ill during your time at camp.
Time Off
24 hours off each week, two mid summer breaks and personal time during the day. We also offer 3 days of paid illness absence to support our staff if they become ill.
Career Development
A full week of training kicks off the summer with additional opportunities to learn new skills, develop leadership abilities, receive coaching and mentoring and develop training and presentation skills.
Trip Opportunities
There are many opportunities to pursue -overnight and day trips. Take a canoe or kayak trip, take a llama and bicycling trip or just do an old fashioned day hike and cookout.
Community
Everything we do is focused on helping girls grow strong, building a safe community and having fun. We are committed to leave no trace, composting and other environmental principals. Community is an intangible benefit to working with Totem, but it is the most important one.
Other Amenities
Onsite staff internet access, laundry facilities, break areas and accommodating kitchen staff help make our camps some of the best places to work this summer!
