Job Description:

Camps Kenwood & Evergreen, a 7 week residential summer camp, is seeking a child-friendly nurse (RN or LPN) to join our medical team from 6/15/12 to 8/12/12 (8 weeks). Our talented, experienced staff of doctors and nurses provide health care to a fantastic group of children and staff, aged 7 and up. Responsibilities include: assessing and treating injuries, organizing daily sick calls, dispensing daily meds, scheduling outside appointments, entering online medical records, and responding to medical emergencies.

What is different about our Camp? A warm, friendly, family environment with a relatively small population (320 campers) in a rural lakeside location. You will know the name of every child and staff in Camp and they will know yours!

Spend a summer in the woods at an exciting, fulfilling, 8 week job. Great compensation package, great location, great experience! Up to two children may attend Camp in addition to a salary!

Job Requirements:

* Licensed R.N.

* 2+ years of experience

* Ability to work with children aged 7 to 15

* Computer experience

* Work as part of a team

A current license (RN) is a prerequisite. Prior experience (preferably pediatric) is always preferred but warmth, patience and the ability to communicate effectively with campers, staff and parents are all crucial. Experience with computers is also a requirement.
