Job Description:

Camp Skylemar is a well-established (since 1949) recreational summer camp, located in the Lakes Region of southern Maine. Located on a 200 acre wooded campsite overlooking the White Mountains and a beautiful spring-fed lake, Skylemar offers a nurturing atmosphere with an emphasis on FUN.

We seek counselors to instruct waterskiing and/or wakeboarding to our campers. If kids are fun to you, if you enjoy teaching and water-skiing or wakeboarding, if you like being with great people, and if you’re a responsible role-model, this is the perfect summer job (June 19 to August 14). Skylemar is located on a three mile long, beautiful spring-fed lake. Our campers and staff have the opportunity to ski and board behind three boats (Malibu, Mastercraft X-7 and Moomba.) We have a full slalom course on the lake. Position involves teaching/coaching all levels of skiers and/or wake boarders, between the ages of 8 – 16, spotting, and driving.

We provide a salary (starting at $1900), housing, excellent food, laundry service and travel assistance. We also offer additional money to those applicants with current Red Cross certifications. Check out our website at: www.campskylemar.com.
