Job Description:

Work closely with Anisfield Day Camp Director. Anisfield has over 350 campers each summer and has two sites. Our older campers start and end their day in Beachwood and travel together with the staff to our country site in Burton, OH each day. The Assistant Director travels with the campers and is the site director in Burton.


Assistant Director supervises all Burton counselors, village supervisors and specialists. Other responsibilities include scheduling, planning overnights and creative theme programs. Day to Day management of general camp and camper issues. Communicate on a consistent basis with camp parents regarding issues with their campers.

Job Requirements:

Must have experience working in a camp setting and supervising high school and college age counselors. Education, social work or related degree preferred. Creative, enthusiastic, warm and engaging. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills needed. Must be independent and a strong team leader. Comfortable in Jewish setting.
