Job Description:

Camp Cayuga is actively supervised by the Camp Directors and over 40 Senior Staff members, who are professional educators, school teachers, coaches, guidance counselors, and the like. We are seeking mature individuals to fulfill various supervisory and directorship positions including: Division Directors, Head Counselors, Program Directors, Athletic Directors, Tennis Director (USTA pro), Intercamp Tournament Directors, Trip Directors, Evening Entertainment Directors, Special Event Directors, Activity Supervisors, Horsemanship Director, Pool Directors, Lake Director, Adventure & Wilderness Director, Flying Trapeze Director, Circus Director, Creative Arts Directors, Performing Arts Director, Health Supervisor & Medical Staff, Maintenance Director, Transportation Director, Food Service Manager and Chefs, and Office Personnel.

CAMP FACILITIES: Separate Teen Campus, Comfortable Modern Cabins (large bathrooms with 3 to 7 private showers per cabin), 2 Pools, 13-Acre Private Lake, Dining Hall on each campus, Equestrian Center (25 horses, 2 riding rings, scenic trails), Petting Zoo (goats, sheep, mini horse, bunnies, etc), Tennis Center (10 courts), Skate Park (half-pipe, pyramids, ramps, grind rails), Gymnasium, Teen Rec Center, High & Low Adventure Ropes Course (32' climbing tower, 205' zip line, 6 stations), Performing Arts Building, Dance Studio, Aerobics Studio, Martial Arts Room, Weight Training Room, Video Game Room, Roller Hockey Rink, 2 Indoor & 4 Outdoor Basketball Courts, 4 Grass Volleyball Courts, 2 Sand Volleyball Courts, 2 Creative Arts Pavilions, Pottery Room (15 wheels), Ceramics Room (4 kilns), Radio DJ Broadcasting Stations, ATV Track, Mountain Biking & Hiking Trails, Baseball Fields, 4 Athletic Fields, Paintball Fields, 2 Archery Ranges, 2 Riflery Ranges, 4 Golf Cages, 4 Bungee Trampolines, Overnight Sites, Cookout Sites, 2 Snack Bars, Staff Lounge, and 350 secluded acres for hiking, dreaming, and exploring!

Job Requirements:

Camp Cayuga is a coed nonsectarian sleepaway camp located in the beautiful Pocono Mountains of northeast Pennsylvania. Family owned and operated since 1963, Cayuga caters to normal average children of the ages 6 to 16.

We are seeking individuals with high moral character, who exhibit good sportsmanship, strong loyalty, honesty, and the ability to work hard to ensure a positive camp experience for our campers! If you consider yourself a good role model and have a genuine interest in working with children, we encourage you to apply. Our staff members have fun at Cayuga because they possess a good sense of humor, an outgoing personality, and good leadership abilities.

Our success is directly related to the quality of our staff, who are dedicated to providing a safe, fun and nurturing environment for our campers. Each camper is under the close care and direct supervision of at least 2 cabin counselors. Our senior staff are professional educators, teachers, nurses, and coaches. The staff/camper ratio is 1 to 4. All staff attend a one-week orientation for qualifying and training prior to the campers' arrival.
