WATERFRONT: American Red Cross swim instruction, recreational swimming, competitive swimming, water ballet, water polo, water volleyball, water basketball, sailing, canoeing, kayaking, row boating, windsurfing, fishing, intercamp swim meets, scuba diving clinics, polar bear club, lake trampoline, rolling log, tubing, and paddle boating.

CREATIVE ARTS: Arts & crafts, ceramics, kiln operation, basket weaving, pottery, pottery wheel operation, sculpting, silk screening, tye-dye, wood projects, block printing, lanyards, copper enameling, beading, paper mache, sketching/drawing, painting, leather craft, mask making, model rocketry, clay projects, jewelry making, braiding, lanyards, decoupage, air brushing, fabric painting, and macrame.

PERFORMING ARTS: Drama (acting, improvisation, set design & construction), music (guitar & keyboards), singing and chorus, dance (ballet, social, jazz, tap, modern), yoga, and aerobics.

EQUESTRIAN: Horseback Riding instruction in both English and Western styles from beginner to advanced levels. Equestrian program also includes: horseback overnights, evening trail rides, horse jumping club, intercamp horse shows, and intracamp horse shows. Equestrian Center features: 25 horses on the premises, petting zoo, 2 instructional riding rings, and over 5 miles of scenic trails.

ADVENTURE & WILDERNESS: Hiking, backpacking, compass reading, mountain biking, overnight camping, cabin cookouts, ropes course, 20ft Climbing Wall, 205ft Zip Line, rappelling, ATV Honda quads, nature studies, and Delaware River canoe trips.

TRAPEZE & CIRCUS ACTS: High flying trapeze, double trapeze, single trapeze, trapeze shows, trapeze competitions, spanish web, cradle, diabolo, plate spinning, magic tricks, tumbling, devil sticks, juggling and a Circus Clinic (tightwire, stilt walking, unicycling, acrobatics, clowning, the rolling globe).

MEDIA ARTS: Radio DJ broadcasting, video camera filming, photography darkroom, and camp newspaper.

SENIOR STAFF SUPERVISORS: Division Directors, Program Directors, Athletic Directors, Intercamp Tournament Directors, Trip Directors, Evening Entertainment Directors, Special Event Directors, Activity Supervisors, Camp Nurses, Horsemanship Director, Pool Director, Lake Director, Adventure & Wilderness Director, Flying Trapeze Director, Creative Arts Director, Performing Arts Director, Food Service Director, Chefs, Dining Hall Manager, Transportation Director, CDL Drivers, Bus Drivers, and Academic/Tutoring Director.

ADMINISTRATIVE STAFF: Receptionists and Office Support Staff for the following: mail room, telephone answering, mailings, typing, data entry, record keeping, filing, copying, public relations, general office and administrative duties.

MEDICAL STAFF: Registered Nurses (RNs), Nurse Practitioners, LPNs, EMTs and MDs. 4 and 8 week positions available. Our infirmary is modern and comfortable.

Job Requirements:

Camp Cayuga is a traditional coed camp for boys & girls ages 5 to 15. Located in the Pocono Mountains of Pennsylvania about 3 hours from New York City & Philadelphia. Family owned and operated since 1957, Cayuga caters to normal average children of the ages 5 to 15. ACA accredited. Diversified program features over 60 daily activities. Comfortable cabins with bathrooms. Modern facilities: 2 pools; private lake; 10 tennis courts; equestrian center with 25 horses; 2 gyms; skate park; staff lounge with high-speed internet access. Our staff is comprised of 135 members who are college students, college graduates, teachers, and coaches. You'll have a great time at Cayuga if you have an outgoing personality, a good sense of humor, strong teaching skills in your activity area, good leadership ability, and experience in supervising and instructing children.

STAFF ORIENTATION
In an effort to acquaint our staff with the camp's facilities and other staff members, we schedule a seven day counselor orientation period prior to the beginning of the camp's summer season.  During staff orientation we hold training sessions and group workshops; review policies and procedures; and sponsor social events for our staff members.  In the past, our orientation period has produced a close knit staff, confident of their skills and ready for the arrival of our campers!
