Directors of sports programs at camp coordinate all aspects of the sport program. They oversee the teaching of fundamentals to all campers. The overall goal of the sports programs is to foster team work, cooperation, good sportsmanship, and positive growth in each sport.
- Working knowledge of sport, games, rules, etc.
- Coaching abilities: Able to teach fundamentals in sport to all ages.
- Organized: Able to schedule and plan inter and intra camp games.
- Creative: Plan age appropriate, stimulating activities for children ages 6-16.
- Flexible: Able to adapt schedule quickly to meet changing needs of overall camp schedule.
- Cooperative worker: Able to work with a team of people.
- Available to work the entire summer session running from June to August.
