Job Description:

Camp Airy (for boys) in Thurmont, MD and Camp Louise (for girls) in Cascade, MD, have been in the business of making a difference in children's lives for over 86 summers. We are resident camps in the mountains of Western Maryland (1 hour from Baltimore/Washington metro areas), serving Jewish children ages 7-17 (many of our staff, however, are not Jewish, and come to us from all over the
U.S., Britain, Europe, and Australia!).

We are looking for two individuals with strong arts/crafts backgrounds to head up our popular Arts & Crafts Department at each of our camps (Camp Airy for boys, and Camp Louise, for girls). This experienced, creative arts and crafts specialist would supervise a staff of 6-12 counselors who teach campers craft skills in areas such as copper enameling, woodworking, candle making, leather work, ceramics, macrame, etc.
