Job Description:

The primary responsibility of this position is leading hikes, conducting guest activities, and providing a high degree of service to guests through cordial interactions as well as accurate and enthusiastic interpretations of the natural and cultural history related to Denali National Park. The employee is responsible for safely transporting guests. The employee works with Lead Naturalist/Guide and General Site Manager to assure efficient operations. The guides are responsible for the safety of the guests they are guiding. Guides are also required to come prepared with at least 2 one hour-long interpretive programs and are required to clean and care for the van assigned to each.

Job Requirements:

Excellent communication skills and experience in guiding or interpretive presentations and a clean driving record. The candidate must possess current 1st Aid/CPR Certification, Class B commercial drivers license with passenger and air brake endorsement is preferred. Enthusiasm and a solid customer oriented attitude is required.
