Brown Ledge, now in its 86th season, is known for its riding program, its range and quality of other offered activities; the unusual degrees of autonomy, freedom, responsibility and ownership given staff and campers, as well as its beautiful site and extensive equipment. The camp's mission is to provide young women an opportunity to become empowered and self-directing while building a range of life and activity skills. The camp envirnoment feels like that of a small college - relaxed with much achievement gained and lifelong friendships developed.

Job Requirements:

Brown Ledge Camp is searching for talented and experienced person to head 86 year old riding program. Person should be seasoned instructor and adept manager with background in H/J, Eventing or Pony Club. In addition to daily instruction, program offers show teams, drill team, and mini- CTE, as well as lectures on horsemanship, stable management, etc. Successful candidate will be skilled at instructing, managing 38 horse stable, 10 member staff, plus 100 riders while creating friendly spirited atmosphere which excites and encourages riders, as well as delivering solid skill acquisition at all levels.
