Job Description:
<p>Camp Shane is a specialized camp that deals with overweight children. The objectives of the camp are for the campers to lose weight, learn new skills, gain self-esteem and have fun.<p>The position of Camp Mom is for a mature person who is available to do very many different things as needs arise around camp. The Camp Mom is a person who loves kids (7-17) and can relate well to them. The position requires someone with great compassion, patience and high energy. (We are in the mountains and do much up and down walking.) You need a positive attitude, a cheerful personality and a willingness to do anything requested - even if not in your job description. The ability to see a need and take care of a problem without supervision is very helpful.
Job Requirements:
Should be 35 + years of age. You must have emotional maturity, good moral character and integrity, be flexible and cooperative. Requires strong leadership and organizational skills. You should enjoy a camp environment, be friendly, caring, kind, outgoing, like children, be lots of fun and give good hugs!
