Chappaquiddick Beach Club

The Chappaquiddick Beach Club is an historic, family-oriented private club located on the north shore of Chappaquiddick, a small island connected to the main island of Martha's Vineyard by a three-car ferry, about a five minute walk from the club. The college students we hire both live and work at the club; this communal living situation is somewhat unique but is also reflective of the working atmosphere at the club, where teamwork, initiative and personal responsibility are emphasized.

The setting is rural, casual and pure summer resort and, as college students form the backbone of the summer workforce on Martha's Vineyard, the social life is extremely active. In the past, the most successful employees at the club have been students with maturity, a sense of adventure and a disposition to work as hard as they play.

The island of Martha's Vineyard is comprised of six towns, three of which have movie theaters, stores and restaurants. Public transportation on the island is excellent. The nearest large cities are Boston, MA and Providence, RI; both are slightly over an hour away.
