Camp Vega
At Camp Vega for girls, established in 1936, our motto is, “The most important thing a girl will find at Vega is herself.” We consistently hear from our campers, alumnae and parents that Vega girls have the best summers of their lives, and most importantly make lifelong friendships. As a young Vega camper recently wrote to us, “I have learned a lot of things about myself...I have met people that will be some of my best friends for the rest of my life.” These are just a few of the many reasons why over 98% of Vega girls come back year after year to the shores of beautiful Echo Lake.

Our activity program is the perfect balance of safety, fun, structure, and choice. Campers can choose from all of our many activities, so girls can do what interests them, while being exposed to new activities. Our activities include, water skiing, water ski jumping, wake boarding, sailing, canoeing, kayaking, paddle boarding, swimming, tennis, soccer, basketball, softball, volleyball, lacrosse, field hockey, Gaga, archery, track, equestrian, culinary arts, gardening, gymnastics, arts and crafts, pottery wheel, stained glass, jewelry, dance, theater, ropes course, figure skating, ice hockey, hiking, camping, and mountain biking.
