Project Finance Summer Analyst

From our UK and Morocco offices, we concentrate our efforts on emerging markets, collaborating with project developers and investors to facilitate the execution of top-quality infrastructure projects that contribute to sustainable economic growth and societal advancement. We have helped fund over $1 billion+ worth of infrastructure projects globally.

GIA is looking for a talented, ambitious and quantitative intern to join the team as a Project Finance Summer Analyst from June to August. Applications will close May 20th 2024.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain financial models for infrastructure projects in emerging markets.
• Create customisable templates to streamline financial modeling processes
• Utilise advanced Excel skills, including Macro development
• Apply finance knowledge to ensure accurate representation of financial principles
• Collaborate with teams to gather and analyze data for decision-making
• Stay updated on energy trends and markets
• Assist in preparing reports and presentations based on financial models

Qualifications

• MSc, BSc or minimum BA degree in relevant fields (Mathematics, Engineering, Economics, etc.)
• Proficiency in Excel with Macro development experience
• Basic finance understanding
• Top-tier university background required
• Background in IB, PE, or Asset Management is advantageous
• Fluency in multiple languages and understanding of infrastructure development are pluses
