Job Description
About the position: This position is Non-appropriated Fund (NAF) and is located at the Natatorium, Yokota AB Japan. This position is NTE (Not to Exceed). The dates of employment will not exceed 30-SEPT-2025 This is Intermittent (Flexible) position, 0-40 hours a week.

We work together to provide enhanced quality of life for the 12,000 Yokota Air Base community members and over 150,000 transient personnel that visit Yokota every year via facilities and programs centered on morale, welfare, recreation and total force development. Our operations are the fourth largest in the Air Force: 13 dining facilities; personnel readiness and accountability; lodging; fitness; recreation; resiliency; child and youth programs; community building; mortuary affairs; NEO; Professional Development; and Education and Training. The squadron is comprised of eight flights, 49 activities and 159 facilities.

You will receive credit for all qualifying experience, including volunteer experience. Your resume must clearly describe your relevant experience; if qualifying based on education, your transcripts will be required as part of your application. Qualifying Experience: Must have an approved and current nationally recognized certification in lifesaving and water rescue methods and skills, as well as basic first aid training, and CPR (both child and adult) training. Must have experience which provides a practical knowledge of swimming activities, rules and procedures and skill in the use and maintenance of various pool and safety equipment is desirable.
