Job Description Job Description Description: JOIN OUR SUMMER CAMP (TRADITIONAL) TEAM At our YMCA Traditional Summer Camp, we keep kids engaged with a variety of exciting activities, including arts & crafts, group games, nature exploration, swimming, field trips, and more. This summer, our "Mission: Possible" themed camp transforms ordinary days into extraordinary adventures Every day is a new adventure, and we need enthusiastic, energetic, and responsible team members to help create an unforgettable experience for our campers QUALIFICATIONS: High school diploma or equivalent (some college preferred) Previous experience working with school-age children (day camp experience a plus) Experience in sports, arts & crafts, music, skits, outdoor games, or aquatics is a bonus Swimming supervision experience preferred CPR, First Aid, AED, and Child Abuse Prevention Training (must be completed within 30 days of hire) Ability to lead, participate, and have fun in both indoor & outdoor activities Ability to attend the mandatory summer day camp training. YOUR IMPACT: Actively participate in and supervise all camper activities to create an engaging and dynamic experience. Prioritize camper safety at all times, both on-site and during outings. Supervise off-site field trips and outdoor adventures Be a positive role model, fostering a fun, inclusive, and structured camp environment. Uphold camp policies and address behavioral issues with professionalism and care. Maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming camp space for all participants.
