Students work with experienced engineers and are exposed to a variety of civil engineering challenges. They also get the opportunity to work on real world projects in a professional environment. Pay: $20 an hour Benefit Information: Here STRUCTURAL ENGINEERING CO-OP ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: Work on job assignments related to area of engineering discipline while working on fall protection designs Perform routine tasks under close supervision using well established standards, procedures and drawings related to structural engineering, OSHA and ANSI. Students will be exposed to design processes as well as various office and field procedures STRUCTURAL ENGINEERING CO-OP ESSENTIAL CREDENTIALS: Education: Must be an engineering major at an accredited university Must be entering their Junior or Senior year of college Qualifications: Some project or design experience, through school or prior internships is preferred Understanding and prior use of design software required; Revit preferred Some travel may be required U.S. citizenship required Physical: Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds at times Must be able to travel to various project sites Must be able to access and navigate job sites and construction areas LJB Inc. is an equal opportunity employer and prohibits discrimination and harassment of any kind.
