Job Description
Looking for a fun, summer job opportunity? Our Quarry Pool in Caldera Springs is looking for a seasonal Pool Attendant. The Pool Attendant is often the first point of contact for guests and owners at the Caldera Springs Quarry Pool and Fitness Center. They will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, maintaining the cleanliness of the facility and assisting guests with recreational equipment. The Pool Attendant will maintain the AAA Four Diamond standards. The Pool Attendant always conduct themselves in a manner which supports the Core Values of Sunriver Resort: Trust, Commitment, and Open & Honest Communication. The Pool Attendant shall strive to provide exceptional service to both internal and external guests at all times. They will be responsible for exemplifying the Sunriver Resort Culture as well as promoting Sunriver Resort as both the Destination and Employer of Choice Must maintain a professional and friendly attitude towards all owners and guests Assist with daily cleaning of the pool and spa deck Cater to the needs and special requests of all owners and guests Must be able to function alone as well as an effective team member. Perform opening and closing duties of the Quarry Pool and Fitness Center Responsible for care, maintenance and cleanliness of pool area and fitness center and locker rooms. This may include cleaning the men’s and women’s locker rooms including shower stalls, toilets and urinals, mirrors, sinks, counter tops and floors if needed. May also include replacement of towels, toiletry amenities, shower soaps etc. Clean & sanitize exercise equipment. Enforces pool rules in a polite and professional manner Responds politely to public inquiries regarding Caldera Springs/Sunriver Resort. Maintain a professional and organized work area at all times Perform other duties as assigned. High school diploma or equivalent preferred At least one year customer service experience preferred Prior hospitality experience preferred Prior pool/spa experience preferred Ability to work a flexible schedule that may include evenings, weekends and holidays Must have the ability to deal effectively and interact well with the guests and associates Must have the ability to resolve problems/conflicts in a diplomatic and tactful manner Must have a passion for creating an exceptional experience for all guests Red Cross/CPR Certified (SRLP will provide training). Must be able to stand on feet throughout the shift, with intermittent periods of walking; Must be able to occasionally lift, carry, push & pull up to 50 lbs. with assistance; Must be able to perform simple grasping, fine manipulation, and repetitive hand & arm movements frequently, and occasional squeezing & overhead reaching; Must be able to bend, squat, crawl, kneel, push, pull, walk on uneven surfaces on an occasional basis; Must be able to work outside in a variety of weather conditions (rain, wind, snow, heat); Must be able to climb stairs occasionally, both indoors and outside in a variety of weather conditions (rain, wind, snow, heat).
