Job Description Job Description The Pool Supervisor assists in overseeing daily operations of a pool in a hotel, resort, or similar setting. QUALIFICATIONS: Typically requires a high school diploma and 3 or more years of experience. May require lifeguard, CPR, or pool operator certification. Knowledge of the field's policies, procedures, and practices. Leads and directs the work of other employees. Typically has some authority for personnel decisions related to hiring, performance, or disciplinary actions. Ability to foster teamwork. Ability to develop and mentor others. Decision-making skills. Problem management. Management skills. Oral communication skills. Customer service skills. Customer service skills. Interpersonal skills. JOB RESPONSIBILITIES: Oversees a team of lifeguards and pool or cabana staff during an assigned shift or in the absence of the Pool Manager. Ensures that pool facilities, including concession stands, pool bar, changing rooms and showers, are cleaned and maintained in accordance with company standards and safety regulations. Promotes and participates in recreational activities involving the use of the pool.
