Sailing Instructor - Summer Position

Job Description Job Description We are looking for junior sailing instructors for the summer, June 9 through August 8, in Ocean City, NJ. This is a great opportunity for a summer position to enhance your sailing skills and make a positive impact on our junior sailors. This is a full-time seasonal position in Ocean City, NJ. We also have a part-time position available for teaching adults Job Duties: Instruct beginner through advanced levels of junior sailors Support travel to regattas and coach Develop daily lesson plans, making full and constructive use of scheduled program times, combining classroom and on-the-water lessons or activities Assist sailors in setting goals with a focus on progress and improvement Encourage participation and motivate sailors to a high level of commitment Physically assist sailors in launching, rigging, and storing boats Job Requirements: US Sailing Level 1 Certification required New Jersey Boaters License A minimum of 3 years of experience instructing Sailing and powerboating experience Comfortable teaching and working with junior sailors Company Description The Ocean City Yacht Club, established in 1901, is rich in both history and tradition.
