Job Description Job Description Crown Pointe Condominium Lifeguard Duties 2025 Summer Season OPENING CHECKLIST: Pick up radio & keys at gate house. Open side gate at 10:00 am. Check that emergency phone is working. Take all safety equipment out of shed. Check pool, if dirty vacuum. Straighten pool chairs. Test water with testing kit and record readings- 3 times on weekdays, 4 times weekends. DAILY DUTIES: Check chemicals 3 times daily during week, 4 times daily on weekends. Record readings in logbook. Make certain all pool rules are being adhered to. You are there to enforce safety and pool rules (safety is first priority). Review as needed. Wash furniture as needed. Make sure people shower before entering the pool. Skim pool as needed. Organize record book, let office know if you need sign-in sheets. Fill out incident reports if needed. CLOSING CHECKLIST: Straighten all pool furniture. Close all umbrellas. Put away safety equipment and logbook book. Put away test kit. Lock pool shed. Return keys & radio to gate house. CHEMICALS AND TESTING – LEFT SIDE, 5 DROPS, NUMBERS 1 AND 2 RIGHT SIDE, 5 DROPS NUMBER 4
