Job Summary: We are looking for a highly motivated and passionate Training and Development Intern to join our People team. As an intern, you will assist with a variety of tasks aimed at supporting the learning and development needs of the organization. This is a great opportunity to gain hands-on experience in corporate training and development, enhance your knowledge of adult learning principles, and contribute to initiatives that help employees grow professionally. This role reports to the Senior Director of People and works closely with the People team and managers across the organization. This is a Summer Internship working 2 days in the office and 3 days from home. Responsibilities: Support Training Sessions: Assist in organizing and facilitating training sessions, workshops, and seminars for employees. Training Material Development: Help create, update, and maintain training materials such as presentations, handouts, and eLearning modules. Research and Analysis: Conduct research on training best practices and tools, industry trends, and competitor training programs. Employee Engagement: Assist in tracking and analyzing employee engagement during training programs through surveys, feedback forms, and participation data. Database Management: Maintain and update training records, track attendance, progress, and completion of learning activities. Coordinate Logistics: Help with the coordination of training logistics (scheduling Virtual Microsoft Teams or in-person branch training sessions) and preparing materials. Requirements: Must be in pursuit of a Master’s degree in Workforce Education and Development, Organization Development and Change, Professional Development, Business Administration, or a related field. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to collaborate with individuals across different levels of the organization. Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to maintain confidentiality. Familiarity of human resource principles, practices, and procedures. Superior time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines. Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite and related software. Basic knowledge of learning management systems (LMS) is a plus. Eagerness to learn and grow in the People field, particularly in training and development. A proactive, self-starter attitude with the ability to take initiative and work independently.
