Sports Attendant (712726)

Salary range : £26,634-£27,463 (includes shift enhancement) FTE : 1.0 (35 hours per week) Term : Open Closing date : 18 May 2025 We are looking to employ a Sport Attendant who is highly enthusiastic and are customer focussed to join the team at Strathclyde Sport, University of Strathclyde. This is a varied role and you will be required to deliver a high quality and excellent customer experience for all users. You will possess an ability to work on your own initiative and have a commitment to working within a team. Your main duties include swimming pool lifeguarding, setting up and down of sports and class equipment and working on reception using a Leisure Management System (Gladstone) dealing with day to day enquiries, bookings and memberships. As part of the team you will help ensure a safe, secure and clean environment for the users. Candidates who do not hold a valid and current RLSS or STA Pool Lifeguard Qualification will require to obtain the qualification as a requirement for the post on commencement of employment. The hours will be based on a rota, which will include working evenings and weekends and will be line managed by a Duty Manager.
