Van Driver & Grounds Maintenance Operative Location: Hemel Hempstead, covering Tring & Berkhamsted Employer: Pertemps - on Behalf of Dacorum Borough Council – Clean, Safe and Green Team Pay: £12.68 per hour Contract: Immediate start – Ongoing until October Hours: Monday to Friday, 7:00am – 3:00pm (Early finish Fridays at 2:30pm) We’re Hiring – 8 Positions Available! Dacorum Borough Council's Clean, Safe and Green team is looking for 8 reliable, hardworking Van Drivers & Grounds Maintenance Operatives to help keep our borough looking its best throughout the spring and summer seasons. You'll be driving our 3.5 tonne, double wheelbase caged vans across Hemel Hempstead, Tring, and Berkhamsted, working outdoors and supporting the upkeep of parks, open spaces, and public areas. Main Duties: Mowing grass using ride-on mowers Emptying litter bins & picking litter Leaf blowing and strimming General grounds maintenance tasksRequirements: A full UK manual driving licence, clean with no points Comfortable driving a 3.5t caged van Able to work outdoors in all weather Good timekeeping and team ethic Steel toe cap boots required (hi-vis provided) Previous experience is helpful, but full training is providedWhy Join Us?
