Reports to: Head of UK B2B Sales Introduction Hello, we’re Beco! A fast-growing pet business on a mission to help pet owners give their dogs and cats the life they deserve, with a little less impact. We create unique products that help enhance the key areas of the lives we share with our dog and cats, whilst working to create positive change within our industry and beyond. We’ve gone from strength to strength in recent years, and are currently stocked in over 43 markets worldwide, with products sold in retailers such as Waitrose, Ocado, and Pets at Home, as well as independents across the UK and distributors worldwide…. but this is only the beginning. Job Overview This is a key role within the business looking after our biggest UK wholesaler and key pet speciality accounts. Responsibilities: · Build on the strong relationships we have with our wholesaler and pet speciality customers · Use your knowledge and experience of account management to scale sales significantly, launching regular NPD and taking responsibility for multiple P&Ls · Seek out new business and grow listings in current accounts · Plan and implement sales and marketing strategy across accounts · Pull together and negotiate Joint Business Plans · Train wholesaler sales teams · Take a consultative sales approach on sustainability within the pet space, developing Beco ranges with the retailers · Build key cross functional contacts, including supply, finance and marketing both internally and with our customers Experience: · Minimum 3 years’ experience in a similar role within FMCG Skills: · Personable and outgoing · Good time management and organisational skills · Commercially strong with a talent for negotiating, · Strong Excel skills · Excellent presentation skills with attention to detail · Loves dogs · Passionate about mission led brands · Target orientated, driven and ambitious Why Beco · Hybrid working (where possible) · Flexitime with core working hours · 25 days holiday · Summer hours · A company-wide bonus scheme · High street vouchers won at quarterly awards · Support and training in your role and career development · Monthly socials and events for the Beco team · A dog friendly office · Free food for your dog, and a friends and family discount · Volunteering for environmental projects · Maternity and paternity packages · 24/7 mental health and well-being confidential helpline · Cycle to work scheme Values It’s the people at Beco that make us who we are.
