About the Role: Part-Time Server at Lark's at Ashland Springs Hotel
As a Server at Ashland Springs Larks, you will play a crucial role in delivering exceptional dining experiences to our guests. Your primary responsibility will be to provide attentive and personalized service, ensuring that each guest feels valued and satisfied throughout their visit. You will work closely with the kitchen and management teams to ensure timely and accurate order delivery, contributing to the overall efficiency of the restaurant. Additionally, you will be responsible for maintaining a clean and organized dining area, which is essential for both guest satisfaction and health standards. Ultimately, your efforts will directly impact the reputation of our establishment and the overall success of our food and beverage operations.
Minimum Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience in a food service or hospitality role.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Knowledge of food and beverage pairings.
- Experience with point-of-sale (POS) systems.
Responsibilities:
- Greet and seat guests in a friendly and professional manner.
- Take food and beverage orders accurately and efficiently.
- Serve food and drinks to guests, ensuring timely delivery.
- Handle guest inquiries and complaints with professionalism and care.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the dining area and service stations.
Skills:
Strong communication skills are essential for effectively interacting with guests and team members, ensuring a smooth dining experience. Attention to detail is crucial when taking orders and serving food, as it helps prevent mistakes and enhances guest satisfaction. Time management skills will be utilized daily to prioritize tasks and ensure timely service during busy periods. A positive attitude and ability to work in a fast-paced environment will contribute to a collaborative team atmosphere. Additionally, having a basic understanding of food safety and hygiene practices will help maintain a safe and clean dining environment.
