Graduate Teaching Assistant Are you a graduate looking to gain primary school experience before starting your teacher training? Graduate Teaching Assistant September 2025 – July 2026 £80 - £100 per day ‘Outstanding’ primary school, Ward of Ladywood 1:1 and small group support across KS2 The Role: The appointed Graduate Teaching Assistant will support pupils across Key Stage 2, working closely with class teachers to deliver targeted interventions. You’ll provide 1:1 and small group support in English and maths, help pupils prepare for end-of-year assessments, and contribute to classroom activities. You’ll also assist with planning resources and encouraging pupils to develop their confidence and independence. The Candidate: The ideal candidate will be a graduate with a strong academic background and a clear interest in working in education. You should be reliable, calm under pressure, and confident working with children aged 7 to 11. Previous experience working with young people—through tutoring, mentoring, volunteering, or summer camps—would be beneficial but not essential.
