Position Summary: Welch's is excited to be offering a paid Summer 2025 Engineering Internship position! The summer intern will provide engineering support for juice packaging, processing, general facilities, and seasonal operations. The intern will successfully complete various projects to drive plant improvements and infrastructure upgrades. Where You'll Work: This is a fully on-site Engineering role that will operate out of our North East, Pennsylvania manufacturing facility, just outside of Erie, PA. This position reports to the Welch's Corporate Project Engineer, who also works on-site at this location. What You'll Do: Support projects involving design, installation, maintenance, and improvement of equipment and related installations Maintain consistent communication with processing, production, engineering, and maintenance leadership to obtain maximum machine uptime and reliability Provide technical expertise and technical leadership to plant personnel as required Develop project engineering knowledge and technical leadership skills by managing key projects Recommend and initiate changes to improve equipment operating performance Job may involve work at both the North East, PA and Westfield, NY plants Participate in all regular meetings as scheduled Other duties as assigned Who You Are: Enrolled in a 4-year Engineering program with ability to work safely in an industrial setting Interested in exploring a potential career in the manufacturing and / or food and beverage industries Beyond the technical foundations that an academic Engineering degree provides, Welch's is ultimately looking for interns who approach their work and growing career with: Curiosity, adaptability, resilience, empathy and initiative!
