As Transactional Finance Manager, you will oversee the Accounts Payable and Receivable functions within our wider Finance team of 12. The purpose of this role is to define and manage all transactional processes across the brand and to lead and develop a high performing team to support a rapidly evolving business. Collaborative The Role: Total management of cash flow Preparation of GRNI reconciliation Working closely with the management accounts team on GL close Accurately reviewing balance sheet reconciliations Preparing and submitting the HMRC Creditors report in a timely manner Liaising with parent company (BCC) on supplier credit checks Supporting with internal and external audit queries Continuously review, design and develop ways of working to drive efficiencies within the team Implementing innovations and improvements to existing processes Demonstrating strong people management skills - leading your team with the right balance of support and challenge to ensure your team delivers great results Operating as the transactional Finance lead on business wide projects, partnering with internal and external stakeholders Supporting the team with ‘business as usual’ activity, covering holidays and absences when needed To join our vibrant and fast-growing business: You have a minimum of 5 years’ experience in a similar role, preferably in the retail industry You are resilient, a confident decision-maker who is adaptable and can effectively navigate through both anticipated and unexpected changes You are great at communicating, relationship-building and managing expectations with internal and external stakeholders You have exceptional attention to detail You can manage multiple tasks at once in fast-paced environment, supporting your team to do the same You have a growth mindset; always looking to improve ways of working, learn from challenges and implement solutions You create an inspiring, effective and collaborative culture within your team and beyond You are keen to gain a broader understanding of a retail Finance department outside of your function You'll be rewarded with: Competitive starting salary and great career prospects in a fast paced and growing business 25 days holiday, plus bank holidays and a day off on your birthday Company-funded private health insurance and access to Smart Health Life assurance Discretionary bonus scheme 50% staff discount Interest-free Season ticket loan Summer hours - 3pm finishes every Friday throughout June, July & August Bespoke induction support and ongoing development to help you thrive in your new role A welcoming and inspiring work-environment - take advantage of Yoga classes, social activities, an early finish on pay day and more
