Chief Officer / 1st Mate

Burgess Recruitment is currently seeking a Chief Officer for a 60m yacht . We are looking for an experienced Chief Officer to join a well-established charter yacht with a busy upcoming summer season. Requirements & Responsibilities Chief Mate 3000gt, SSO, Medical Care – beneficial. Minimum 2 seasons of experience on similar-sized yachts with similar programmes. Strong knowledge of ISM, ISPS, navigation, and watchkeeping. Excellent communication skills, well-organized, motivated, and able to manage time efficiently. Hands-on when required, especially during charters. Focus on teamwork and mentoring junior crew members. Comfortable with daily, weekly, and monthly checks. Location Spain Salary DOE Leave 8:8 Rotation Vessel & Itinerary A dual-season, very busy charter vessel with some owner use, upcoming busy summer with booked charters.
