Chief Officer / 1St Mate

Burgess recruitment is currently seeking a Chief Officer for a 60m yacht. We are seeking an experienced Chief Officer to join a very established charter yacht, with a busy upcoming Summer season. Requirements & Responsibilities Chief Mate 3000gt, SSO, Medical Care – beneficial. Minimum 2 seasons experience on similar sized yachts with similar programme. Strong knowledge of ISM, ISPS, navigation and watchkeeping. Excellent communication skills, well-organised and motivated and who can manage their time efficiently. Must be hands-on when required, particularly on charter. Strong focus on teamwork and mentoring junior crew. Comfortable with daily, weekly, and monthly checks.
