Chief Officer/1St Mate

Burgess Recruitment is currently seeking a Chief Officer for a 60m yacht . We are looking for an experienced Chief Officer to join a well-established charter yacht with a busy upcoming summer season. Requirements & Responsibilities Chief Mate 3000gt, SSO, Medical Care – beneficial. Minimum 2 seasons of experience on similar-sized yachts with similar programmes. Strong knowledge of ISM, ISPS, navigation, and watchkeeping. Excellent communication skills, well-organized, motivated, and able to manage time efficiently. Hands-on when required, particularly on charter. Focus on teamwork and mentoring junior crew. Comfortable with daily, weekly, and monthly checks. Location : Spain Salary : DOE Leave : 8 : 8 Rotation Vessel and itinerary : Dual season, very busy charter vessel with some owner use — busy summer ahead with booked charters.
