SUMMER STUDENT LABOR (2025)

2025 Temporary Summer/Seasonal Employment Packaging Corporation of America in Liverpool, NY is accepting applications from individuals interested in working as temporary seasonal hourly manufacturing laborers for the 2025 Summer season. Responsibilities: * Perform a variety of manufacturing tasks using production equipment to ensure steady workflow. * Perform minor equipment adjustments and ensure quality checks are performed before, during and upon completion. * Be able to stack boxes, clean areas of the facility, or perform other general helper duties. Basic Qualifications: * High School Graduate or GED * Willing to work 1st shift (7AM-3PM), 2nd shift (3PM-11PM), or 3rd shift (11PM-7AM) as assigned * Strong safety background with a good attendance record * Ability to work closely on a day-to-day basis with other production personnel * Work with a sense of urgency to reduce downtime of machines. * Self-motivated and driven to complete the assigned task with minimal supervision * Possess excellent communication skills * Successfully pass pre-employment (post offer) background check * Must be authorized to work in the US Preferred Qualifications: * Experience in a packaging or other manufacturing environment is a plus with an understanding that temperatures and volumes of work may vary * Prior experience with performing quality inspections and documentation This is a seasonal position, not to exceed 90 days of employment. The typical work week is 8 hours per day for a minimum of 40 hours with the potential opportunity for overtime as needed.
