Responsible for observing and patrolling the pool area, enforcing safety regulations as outlined in American Red Cross Lifeguard standards Greet families, assist swimmers in and around the pool area, and record attendance Maintain quality customer service by enforcing high customer service standards among all employees Complete monthly swim instructor evaluations and monitor swim instructor performance daily Lead monthly Splash N Tells and ensure instructor's progression charts are updated at all times Ensure pool chemical tests are completed and maintain pool area/facility cleanliness Provide emergency care and treatment as required until the arrival of emergency medical services. Prepare and maintain appropriate incident reports. Assist in marketing/promotion of the program What are we looking for in a Deck Supervisor? Maintain Red Cross Lifeguard certification, Red Cross CPR/AED certification for adult, infant and swimmer Previous swim instruction experience is required Must be able to successfully complete all lifeguarding prerequisites to American Red Cross standards Must be 18 years of age Shift Hours: Mon-Thurs 3p-8p, Sat-Sun 8:30a-2p Compensation: $19.00 - $21.00 per hour IF YOU'RE PASSIONATE ABOUT KIDS OR THE SPORT OF SWIMMING, YOU'RE AT THE RIGHT PLACE At SafeSplash, we believe swimming is a life skill®.
