Summer Camp Health Staff: LPN Camp Waziyatah in Waterford is seeking a dedicated Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) for a vibrant summer camp experience. Join our collaborative Health Center team for a 2-week rotation where you'll administer medications, provide first aid, and ensure the well-being of campers and staff. This is a unique opportunity to escape the confines of a typical nursing role, offering a supportive community and the chance to foster your skills in a beautiful outdoor setting. Camp Waziyatah is seeking a compassionate, organized, and energetic Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our Health Center team for a 2-week rotation. You’ll play a vital role in maintaining the health and wellness of our campers and staff while enjoying the fun and community of summer camp life! Key Responsibilities: • Administer morning and evening medications to campers and staff • Provide first aid and treatment for minor injuries and illnesses throughout the day • Document and log all treatments and visits • Communicate with parents when needed regarding camper health updates • Accompany camp driver on trips to urgent care or the hospital when necessary • Monitor overall camper and staff wellness and collaborate with other Health Center team members Schedule: • 6 working days per week with every third night on-call • Health Staff will create their own daily rotation, with 1-2 members in the health center at all times visitations for coverage by our other local nurses and doctors Benefits: • Salary room and board or barter for camper(s) tuition Bring your kid(s)!
