Job Description Job Description SUMMARY : Monitors activities in swimming areas to prevent accidents and provide assistance to swimmers, ensuring the safety of all guests in the pool area. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES Maintain active surveillance of pool area. Caution swimmers regarding unsafe areas or activities. Rescue swimmers in danger of drowning and administer CPR and first aid as needed. Maintain order in swimming areas. Enforce the company rules concerning the swimming areas. Maintain and follow OSHA Regulations/MSDS, to include Heat Illness Prevention and Recognition. Any additional tasks and/or duties as assigned by Hotel Management. Maintain a professional appearance and demeanor, including abiding to uniform requirements. JOB REQUIREMENTS Requirements are representative of minimum levels of knowledge, skills and/or abilities. To perform this job successfully, the incumbent will possess the abilities or aptitudes to perform each duty proficiently. Age Requirement: Must be at least 16 years old SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES None QUALIFICATIONS To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. All Employees must be knowledgeable to all Company policies and procedures, including fire and safety regulations.
